Letters were sent on 17 January 2025 as well as 17 February 2025 to seek suggestions.

The government is also waiting for all the suggestions as soon as possible. After this, the official notification of the Eighth Pay Commission can be announced by the government. The chairman and members of the new commission will be appointed as soon as the notification is issued
